Introduction to Rune-Magic, as a 4-hour workshop at
Airy Fairy in Sheffield, on Sunday 5th October 2025.
This is the first time since 2018 I've presented this course in person, live. The workshop will run for 4 hours including breaks. It's intensely practical. Here's what to expect on the day:
I'll introduce myself and my work in the Northern Mysteries.
Then we’ll cover these topics:
- Introduction to the Runes
- Getting the Runes for yourself
- Making a rune-set
- Runes in divination, including now to distinguish positive and negative aspects of runes.
- Rune-singing, including my own invention, Waterfall Galdor
- Bindrunes and spells
- Traditional runic formulas for healing and magical power
- If we have time, we’ll do a spell together.
You’ll take home with you your own-made set of Elder Futhark runes and five handouts to help you continue your work with divination and crafting your own runic spells.
